| 1 | gallon | apple cider | |

| 8 | sticks | cinnamon | |

| 1 | Tablespoon | allspice | |

| 1 | lemon, sliced | ||
|  | |||
| 1 | orange, sliced | ||
|  | |||
| 1 | Tablespoon | whole cloves | |
|  | |||
Add apple cider, cinnamon sticks and allspice to a slow cooker or large pot.
Stud lemon and orange slices with whole cloves and add to liquid.  
Simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

For an alcoholic version, add 1 gallon white wine and 2 cups rum and simmer for about 10 minutes before serving hot.
